Merry Christmas from Youth Excel

Hi Everyone

Firstly, I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I sincerely pray that Youth Excel has been a blessing to your family this year and that your load has been a little lighter because of our services.

I trust everyone received our feedback survey via email last week.  I hope it will give you an opportunity to give me some direct anonymous feedback on our staff and services. Please use it as an opportunity to highlight an area we can improve or send some direct thanks and praise to staff who have worked so hard this year.

2016 is coming very quickly and we have some exciting things planned at Youth Excel. Not only is our onsite psychology program growing and reaching an increasing number of young people in schools, so is our little clinic. It’s quite amazing to think that two years ago, we started with a dream and a plan to support families better and we are now seeing over 80 families each week.

Next year we will be offering after school programs for guys and girls each term, thanks for the sponsorship of Inclusive Kids.  We are also planning some amazing holiday program so stay tuned for those as they roll out.

Our psychological appointment fees will be increasing ever so slightly, to $60 out of pocket for MHCP clients.  This will be effectively as from January 4th 2016.  If I could also take this opportunity to remind you of our 48 hour cancellation policy, especially over Christmas when I know everyone’s schedule will be busy.

Our office will be close from December 21st and reopen January 4th.

Youth Excel’s annual gingerbread fundraiser, hosted by Kerry Van will be held December 8th at Youth Excel.  Tickets are only $25 and I promise it will be one of the most lovely nights of the year.  You can call our office to book a seat – (07) 3482 3466.  It’s becoming a bit of a end of year celebration for Youth Excel, so please take the time to join us for a great night out together and bring your children, teenagers, friends, neighbours, aunties, grandmas for a night that everyone always enjoys.

Thanks to everyone once again.  I trust everyone will have an amazing Christmas break and I look forward to seeing you soon.
