Sharon Witt is one of Australia’s leading educators, having taught secondary students for over 33 years. With a career dedicated to supporting young people, she is widely regarded as an expert in helping neurodivergent students transition successfully into high school. Sharon is a bestselling author of more than 22 books for children and teens, including Starting High School and the popular parenting guide Starting Secondary School, co-written with adolescent psychologist Dr Michael Carr-Gregg. Her work has supported thousands of young people and their families across Australia. Sharon is also expanding her expertise through postgraduate study, currently completing her Graduate Diploma in Autism and Neurodivergent Studies.
Michelle Mitchell is an author and speaker, sought after for her compassionate and grounded advice for parenting tweens and teens.
She began as a classroom teacher but soon found a special interest in wellbeing. In 2000 she left teaching to establish a health promotion charity and psychology clinic which delivered life skills programs and psychological services to thousands of young people and their families each year.
Today she uses her experience to write and speak in schools, community events and through media.
