This first item in this bundle is A Girl’s Guide to Puberty. With the help of comics, real-life stories and inspiring quotes, boys will learn about body parts and how they will change, get tips on how to care for their body and emotions (including their brain) and develop a mindset for enjoying life now and into the future.
item 2: Talking about puberty
The second item is Talking About Puberty. This age appropriate, yet comprehensive online program that gives 8 – 12-year-olds an important understanding of the body they were born with, and the changes it will undergo through puberty. Content is directed to all tweens, although separate videos are provided for boys’ and girls’ body parts and body changes. That way, tweens can view them when they are ready. Here’s a snap shot of what is inside:
- 13 animated teaching videos, beautifully animated with Michelle’s trademark humour throughout. Each video is between is 5 – 20 mins in length.
- Tried and tested discussion questions to help kick-start vital conversations between parents and tweens. These are based on the most common questions tweens ask Michelle.
