And here’s the added bonus. When our kids grow, it’s an invitation for us to grow as well. We get to review our lives, beliefs and skills – and clear any debris on the runway to their hearts. This coaching program is just as much about you, as your tween. It’s my opportunity to show up for you and support you!

Here’s how we will roll…

  • The focus of these programs is our weekly 1.5 hour time together. During that time we will interacting in a small group based on handpicked content and your Q and As. I will be there to engage with your needs based on each week’s theme.
  • Prior to these sessions you will receive an email from me, with hand picked content, a video and some bullet point thought in preparation for our time together.
  • If life gets in the way and you are unable to make our live session you will receive a recording full of the insights that were unpacked on the night, so you won’t miss a thing.

WHAT WILL YOU TAKE AWAY?

I have designed this small group coaching program around four content pillars. Conquer these, and they will build a firm foundation for the year that lie ahead. Together we will explore:

In this program we are going to look behind the behaviour and understanding what is going on for your kids. Together we will explore:

  • What is going on for your tween?

In this session we will unpack what the latest research says about tween development, so you know what to expect in this stage of life. We are going to dig into drivers that are impacting your tween and undercover why these are different than the ones they are likely to experience in their teenage years

  • How can you support the development of sturdy self-esteem?

In this session we will dive into the science behind strong self-esteem and how often our well-meaning feedback and praise so often undermines the developmental work they need to do. We will talk about how to become the trust source of feedback your tween needs to steady them during this important season of identity development.

  • How can you help your tween manage big feelings?
In this session we will talk about emotional regulation, and how to help tweens to express, process and manage big feelings; as well review your own childhood patterns which act as a default blueprint for your interactions with them. Let’s also talk about hormones, and its link to tween’s mental health – and why it is critical we invest into their health now to safeguard the transition ahead.
  • How do you balance boundaries with compassion?
In this session we will talk about boundaries, what to do when tween asks for new freedoms. We are going to particularly discuss how you use power in our home, and ways to balance boundaries with compassion so their voice is heard.
