WELCOME TO
RESILIENT KIDS CONFERENCE

Australia’s Trusted PARENTING VOICES come together for one inspiring day.

WELCOME TO THE RESILIENT KIDS CONFERENCE

The Resilient Kids Conference is a one-day event for parents and professionals who live and work with kids and teens. It’s a place where Australia’s leading parenting educators join forces to support you with practical tools and strategies, so we can better show up for this generation of kids.

Since 2016, our live events have attracted up to 800 attendees in a single event so the vibe is marvellous. It is beyond beautiful to see parents, educators, and many other professionals stream through the doors in anticipation of a soul fulfilling experience. By the end of the day their faces are beaming, and so is our team.

If you haven’t been to a Resilient Kids Conference you simply must! It’s much more than a conference. It’s a community of people, redefining resilience together. Get in touch with us anytime by contacting events@michellemitchell.org

MEET OUR 2025 SPEAKERS

STEVE BIDDULPH
Psychologist | Best Selling Author | Parenting Educator

Steve is old now (his words not ours!) but when he was young he wrote the top selling parenting book of this century – Raising Boys, and also Raising Girls and The New Manhood.  He was a psychologist for nearly 40 years.  He pioneered the positive, kind and affectionate approach to parenting which we now take for granted, but is still deeply concerned about our world’ future, and the need to make our kids strong and fiercely loving. He believes his generation have a responsibility to fight for the survival of those to come, and he blogs about this in his Decade of Farewell and Wild Creature Mind online projects.

MICHELLE MITCHELL
Parenting Educator | Speaker | Author

Michelle is an author and speaker, sought after for her compassionate and grounded advice for parenting tweens and teens. She began as a classroom teacher but soon found a special interest in wellbeing. In 2000 she left teaching to establish a health promotion charity and psychology clinic which delivered life skills programs and psychological services to thousands of young people and their families each year. Today she uses her experience to write and speak in schools, community events and through media. The core of her work is helping parents be the trusted, leadership presence that their growing kids need.

KAREN YOUNG
Neuroscientist | Anxiety Specialist

Karen began her career as a psychologist in private practice. She has worked extensively with children teens and families, and in educational and organisation settings. She has lectured and has a Masters in Gestalt Therapy. It is through her work with children, teens and families, that she learned the power of solid information when it is placed in the solid, loving hands of parents or any important person in the life of a child.

MATT RUNNALLS
Author | Mental Health Advocate and Founder of Mindfull Aus

In 2016, Matt founded Mindfull Aus at 24, driven by his rediscovery of hope and kindness. As a full-time advocate, he has delivered over 2,500 speeches, workshops, and events across Australia and the U.S., working with leading mental health organisations. A lifelong learner, Matt has studied under experts like Wim Hof, Simon Sinek, Deepak Chopra and Brené Brown. As a best-selling author of Nobody Can Save Me and award-winning speaker, Matt empowers audiences with practical tools for behaviour, well-being & being our best self. His dedication to breaking the silence around mental health makes him a global change agent.
